I started designing websites when I was 16, just because I liked figuring out how things worked in terms of technology and art. That curiosity turned into a career, and after 8+ years at Accenture, design studio, agencies, and startups, I've shipped 50+ projects for clients across Asia and beyond. Most of my work lives in the complicated end of the spectrum: enterprise portals, banking or insurance apps, government platforms, e-commerce website, new business applications. I studied design at PolyU Design, grew up playing video games (which explains a lot about why I love App and website), and I am always curious about where the field is heading next with all the AI and new technology.

  • Lenovo Service Partner Portal preview 1
Lenovo Service Partner Portal preview 2

    Lenovo, a multinational technology company.

A comprehensive heuristic evaluation to identify usability issues and improve the overall user experience of Lenovo's Service Partner Portal.

I worked as one of the main UX researchers and designers, collaborating closely with the senior UX designer to deliver a comprehensive heuristic audit. Over 5 weeks we evaluated 20 core tasks using 7 tailored heuristic principles defined specifically for this project.

We discovered 200+ issues across information architecture and interaction design. Addressing them was critical to enhancing the user experience, improving efficiency, and boosting productivity for service partners.

  • NSW Law Report — Official law reporting body for the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia.

A complete structural and visual revamp of the NSW Law Report website to enhance searchability and readability of legal documents, making case law easier to navigate for legal professionals and researchers.

  • Aspen Group, a global pharmaceutical company; Circadin is its melatonin sleep treatment brand.

UX/UI design for a sleep tracking application aimed at helping users monitor and improve their sleep hygiene, translating clinical sleep science into a calm, easy daily habit.

  • Judicial Commission, an independent statutory body supporting the judiciary.

Modernizing the Judicial Commission's online presence with a focus on accessibility and a streamlined information architecture, making complex legal references discoverable for both judicial officers and the public.

  • HSBC, one of the world's largest banking and financial services organisations.

In-depth user archetype research to inform the design strategy and personalize the banking experience for diverse customer segments across the unsecured lending journey.

  • MTR — Hong Kong's mass transit operator.

An app and CMS for school buses, a seamless connection between parents, teachers, and drivers for a safe journey.

I owned the full visual system as the main designer: brand identity, app, CMS portal, marketing website, and motion / video animation for a brand-new platform and service.

  • Wristcheck, Asia's leading luxury watch consignment marketplace.

UX/UI design for a premium watch platform — focused on trust, authentication, and a seamless buying / selling experience worthy of a luxury timepiece.

  • School of Design, PolyU. Final Year Project, BA Communication Design.

A music journey app that teaches the story of the Guqin, blending traditional Chinese culture with modern interactive design. This was made back when I was still studying Communication Design, so the craft reflects where I was at the time. But honestly, it's still my favourite project after all these years. I handled the whole thing end to end: research, branding, illustration, graphic design, and UX/UI.

  • GreenStory, a freelance client in sustainable lifestyle e-commerce.

A website revamp and social marketing project to enhance site performance and UX, driving better engagement and conversion for the brand.

  • AIA, one of the largest life insurance groups in the Asia-Pacific region.

A cross-regional heuristic evaluation covering multiple AIA digital touchpoints across different markets in Asia. The audit identified usability inconsistencies, friction points, and accessibility gaps, delivering a prioritised set of recommendations to align the regional experience and raise the quality bar across markets.

  • HKEX, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, operator of Hong Kong's stock and derivatives markets.

Ideation and concept design for a revamp of the HKEX Group corporate and marketing website. The work focused on modernising the information architecture, refreshing the visual language, and creating a more engaging experience for investors, issuers, and the broader financial community.

  • Level 22 Chambers, a barristers' chambers based in Sydney, Australia.

The existing site was outdated, and the barrister and practice area pages had a confusing filter system that made it hard for potential clients to find who they needed. Beyond the UX issues, the chambers wanted to drive more business and address a recurring friction point: the communication between clerks, barristers, and prospective clients was taking far too much time, with no clear guidance on the site about how to get in touch or what to expect.

We started with a discovery workshop remotely using FigJam to understand the chambers' goals, map out real user personas, and identify where the site was losing potential clients. The barrister profiles and practice area pages were restructured with a cleaner filter and better hierarchy so the right barrister is easier to find. We also designed clear communication pathways on the site, giving users proper guidance on how to reach the right person and reducing the back-and-forth that was taking up so much of the clerk's time.

Lead Designer on this project. I ran the discovery workshop, conducted the UX audit, and led the persona and wireframe work. UI direction was defined in close collaboration with another UI designer, where I provided direction and reviewed her work to ensure quality throughout.

If you look after goodness and truth, beauty will take care of itself.
— Eric Gill

UX and design form the logical foundation of every digital product. Once you understand the underlying patterns and establish well-designed typography, grids, and spacing — which are all just numbers — beauty naturally takes care of itself.
